Under the auspices of Turkish Republic Presidency, the 5th Round of 2020 FIA World Rally Championship, Rally Turkey, will be organized by Turkish Motorsports Federation (TOSFED) and will host 130 drivers and 65 cars from 19 countries.
In the last two years Rally Turkey was “the biggest sports organization that our country has hosted”, this year it will be in association with Turkish Republic Ministry of Youth and Sports, Turkish Republic Ministry of Culture and Tourism, Spor Toto, and it will be sponsored by AVIS that meets with its customers by “Rent with the best, rent with Avis” motto, Grand Yazıcı Club Turban, Turk Yacht, Pilotcar, Ahu Hospital, Mr.No Dardanel, Auto Club, Marmaris Municipality and Marmaris Chamber of Commerce under the infrastructural organization of Türk Telekom. The rally will start on the 18th of September Friday with the opening ceremonies that will be hosted in Marmaris Atatürk Square. This compelling rally will run for 707 kilometers in 3 days, and it will be going through 12 special stages through Marmaris and Datça, and it will be completed on the 20th of September, Sunday with the podium ceremony that will be organized at the service park located in Asparan. At the same time, the rally that will be hosting the first two races of the Turkish Rally Championship, will be broadcasted to the World via 155 TV channels.
Because of the COVID-19 pandemic that have spread all around the world, the Ministry of Health Public Health Head Office have agreed to host the organization, therefore no spectator area will be created unlike the last few years.
