“When you run with the flat tyres it is not helping. We are missing a lot of luck at the
moment. It happened 6km from the end.”
Car 3. SUNINEN/LEHTINEN
Hard-compound tyres. “Middle of the stage I spun. It was a slow corner in the ruts.
Incredibly rough and smoke inside the car. That’s not ideal.”
Car 4. LAPPI/FERM
“It felt quite bad to be honest. I drive badly. The time will be better because it is cleaning.
We need to make it a bit stiffer and it will be fine.”
Car 5. MEEKE/MARSHALL
“Okay, I had a puncture warning light with 15km to go. I continued to push. Now it is okay,
but it disturbed me a bit.”

“I didn’t expect that to be fair. I am surprised we had such a good time. The surface has
broken up and quite a few rocks are coming up. There was some tarmac. I am quite sure
the medium was not ideal on this stage.”

“Ott is on three medium and we are two medium and we are full hard on the next stage. I
was not happy to be honest. There was a lot of cleaning and less grip than I expected.
But, for the next one, it should be better for us.”

“The stage is cleaning. It will get faster and faster and I expect the guys at the back to go
faster than us. Nice conditions but still very dusty and even with four minutes (gap) it is
still on the limit.”

Rolled in the stage and damaged a tyre and windscreen. “Fine. We were having a
puncture and we were waiting to change the puncture and I lose concentration on this
narrow section. It was slow but a horrible stage for us. Not good.”

“It’s pretty good but rougher than I expected. This afternoon will be a big challenge.
There’s rocks there. Sometimes you have to take a risk and drive over them.”
