Car 1. OGIER/INGRASSIA
“I thought I would never make it. We struggled too much to put the TCA back. The
wishbone was so tight in the subframe. I was very close to give up. I had no energy any
more. It’s only by luck. I was in the middle of the road by a crest and it looked like a hole
or something. I didn’t even see it. I thought I would have to do the stage in rear wheel
drive. I was surprised that the transmission worked and not all the bolts were tight on the
car. I was happy that they did. At least we did not fight for nothing. I will still fight. That is
all I can do.”
Car 8. TÄNAK/JARVEOJA
“The stages have been difficult by characteristic. They are so tricky, so slow and you are
constantly turning all the time. It is interesting. As we have seen this morning, anything
can happen. We need to keep going. It will be a tough afternoon.”
Car 32. KOPECKÝ/DRESLER
Suffered a broken drive shaft in SS10 and completed the stage in rear-wheel drive. The
delay meant the Czech driver lost his WRC 2 lead to Chris Ingram
Car 38. BOSTANCI/VATANSEVER
Retired for the second successive day with mechanical problems on SS10.
